Liz Cane
Introduction (2-3 lines)
Liz Cane is an independent filmmaker based in Los Angeles, California. She grew up in Northern California during the '70’s and '80's, surrounded by political activists, hippies, schizophrenics and bra burners.
Liz's films have aired nationally on PBS, won awards and screened in festivals around the world. She makes both narrative and documentary films that explore love, sex, taboos, friendship, delusion and death. Liz teaches filmmaking at the University of California, Irvine, and is preparing for her first feature film.
